Round 7: Just Biding My Time

Round 7 was very much uneventful. Here are the numbers:

Chelator Doses Strength
DMSA (dimercaptosuccinic acid) 18 18.75 mg

The only thing I noticed during this round was that on Tuesday (day two) I was very sensitive to visual stimulants. As a result, I was very much spent by the end of the work day and had to retire after logging off to reset my optical and vestibular systems. It’s amazing what a 30- to 60-minute reset can do; it won’t reset my symptoms back to the AM timeframe, but it will get me back to functioning better.

The redistribution that followed the round was standard in strength and reactions. One more round at this strength before I can move on up to 25 mg.

Sunday Night Ritual Version 6.0

Last week was a surprise, seeing as I came in with a whopping four-minute improvement. Last week’s numbers:

Start Time End Time Length
Supplements 9:53 PM 10:02 PM 9 min
DMSA 10:05 PM 10:16 PM 11 min
Total: 20 min

Not only was I unable to best last week’s time, but tonight’s exercise came in with an additional minute of work:

Start Time End Time Length
Supplements 10:45 PM 10:55 PM 10 min
DMSA 10:30 PM 10:41 PM 11 min
Total: 21 min

The extra minute shows up in supplements packing, which makes sense. I had to open three new bottle of supplements, which is more than I had to do last week (two, I believe).

At this point I am splitting hairs, but it’s something to make the process fun; a challenge I face each week while I patiently wait for the symptoms to start subsiding. Could I attribute it to OCD? Sure, but if that’s also linked to mercury poisoning then this exercise will hopefully fade away in the future, even while I am still chelating.
